Roma in court today for first hearing involving ex-Sporting Director Gianluca Petrachi

Corriere dello Sport reported that Roma found themselves in court today for the first hearing involving a lawsuit brought on by former Sporting Director Gianluca Petrachi.

The 51 year-old filed the complaint with the Labor Court of Rome following his dismissal from the club on the 3rd of July and is seeking €5 million in damages.

Roma claim that Petrachi was sacked due to misconduct during the lockdown period and accused him of offensive behavior towards former President James Pallotta.

The judge who oversaw today’s hearing requested that the parties enter into a mediation period in an attempt to find an agreement before the case proceeds any further.
