Roma are in negotiations for Real Madrid striker Borja Mayoral.
Sky Sport reports that the Giallorossi are in talks for the Spanish attacker to serve as the vice-option for Edin Dzeko, who is staying in the Italian capital after a deal for Napoli’s Arek Milik collapsed.
Mayoral, 23, spent last season on loan at La Liga side Levante, where he scored 8 goals in 34 appearances. The Spaniard has a contract expiring in 2021 and previously drew interest from rivals Lazio earlier this summer.
Talks are ongoing between Roma and Real Madrid as the Giallorossi are keen to bring in an alternate for Dzeko after Nikola Kalinić returned to parent club Atletico Madrid following his loan spell in the Italian capital.
