Roma are reportedly keen on signing Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior in January.

The capital club are famously seeking defensive reinforcements as Marash Kumbulla and Chris Smalling continue to remain out and Evan Ndicka is set to miss 6 weeks in January/February due to AFCON.

As a result, Roma are said to have made inquiries for Kiwior whose time in the Premier League has proven complicated.

According to Il Messaggero, Roma’s interest in Kiwior is well noted: the Giallorossi are keen on the Polish centreback who has fallen behind in Arteta’s ranks in London and thus could push for a return to Serie A in January.

For the time being, the newspaper claims Kiwior is the ideal candidate to strengthen Jose Mourinho’s backline for the remainder of the season.
