Roma are being linked with another Bundesliga talent ahead of the summer window.

The Italian capital club have reportedly taken interest in Stuttgart youngster Jamie Leweling, on loan from Union Berlin.

The 21-year-old Ghanaian footballer is supposedly one of the brighter talents that Roma have been monitoring abroad this season.

This year, Leweling proved a key player for Stuttgart and their impressive campaign, scoring 4 goals and delivering 4 assists in 31 games.

According to calciomercato.it, what drew Roma to Leweling is his fliexbility and adaptability on the pitch – the youngster can cover multiple positions and play in defense, midfield and attack.

However, the Giallorossi are yet to open talks with Union Berlin – the situation is more complicated given that Stuttgart retain a €6 million buy option which they may choose to activate in the coming weeks just to then raise significantly the player’s pricetag in search of a potential buyer in the summer.

Roma are monitoring the situation with interest.
