Roma are reportedly in talks for Rennes fullback Hamari Traore who is now considered the favorite to replace out-of-favor defender Rick Karsdorp.
According to Footmercato, the capital club have identified the 30-year-old Mali international as the ideal replacement for Karsdorp who is in turn linked with a move to Juventus following the infamous dispute with Jose Mourinho.
Traore’s contract with Rennes is set to expire in the summer and Roma are hoping this will facilitate the negotiations with the French side.
This season, Traore has featured in all 16 league matches for Rennes, collecting one assist to his name.
