Roma in talks for right-back Hugo Siquet

Roma are looking for a valid alternative to Rick Karsdorp for the January transfer window.

Bryan Reynolds’ scarce playing time under Jose Mourinho has motivated the club to pursue other options for a back-up right-back.

According to TMW, Roma are interested in Hugo Siquet of Belgian side Standard de Liège.

The 19-year-old has a price-tag of around €7 million and has featured in 14 league games so far this season with one assist.

Roma have reportedly initiated contact with the Belgian side over a potential transfer in January.

In the 20/21 campaign, Siquet appeared in 20 league games for Liège, finishing with 6 assists to his name.
