Roma resumed talks with Norwegian forward Ola Solbakken of Bodo/Glimt after contact between the capital club and the 23-year-old player was put on hold earlier in the summer.
This time around, the Giallorossi are aiming to bring in Solbakken as a free agent in January.
The attacker’s contract with Bodo/Glimt is set to expire on December 31st, allowing him to leave on a free transfer in the January window.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma have accelerated talks that will enable Solbakken to join Mourinho’s men for free.
The player was previously contended by Napoli and Frankfurt. However, no agreement was reached with either side due to Solbakken’s recent shoulder injury.
