Roma are reportedly in the mix for Genoa midfielder Albert Gudmundsson.

As revealed by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Gudmundsson is Roma’s priority for next summer: the capital club have been tracking the Icelandic talent for several months and want to beat the competition in the race for the 26-year-old.

Di Marzio suggests Roma have already made initial inquiries ahead of the summer as the expect Gudmundsson to receive numerous proposals from Italy and abroad. The player has shown to be willing to move away from Genoa at the end of the season.

However, Roma are not the only ones to have recently asked the player’s agents for more information: Juventus and Inter are also interested and will be engaging in discussions with Gudmundsson and his entourage.
