Roma are reportedly looking for attacking reinforcements ahead of a summer window which will likely see the club part ways with Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgian striker – who has been starting for the Giallorossi since joining them on loan from Chelsea in August of 2023 – will return to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, leaving Roma exposed in the attacking department as Tammy Abraham is not ready yet to lead the line following his recent recovery from an ACL injury.

As a result of Lukaku’s imminent departure, Roma have began a search for a suitable replacement – the candidates the club are currently looking at are all low-cost options with potential for a long-term project.

Among these, La Gazzetta dello Sport includes Hugo Ekitike – the 21-year-old attacker from PSG who is serving his loan at Frankfurt for the remainder of the season.

Ekitike would represent a favorable option given the excellent relations between Roma and Paris Saint-Germain.
