Roma are reportedly targeting Mauro Icardi as a potential replacement of Tammy Abraham.
Following Abraham’s injury which might force him to miss up to nine months of action, Roma are evaluating various profiles to replace him including Romelu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are also considering Mauro Icardi as an alternative solution.
The ex-Inter striker is set to return to PSG after a convincing display with Galatasaray, where he scored 23 goals in 26 appearances.
Icardi is said to be open to the idea of returning to Serie A where he came up through the ranks with Sampdoria and excelled at Inter. Relations between Roma and PSG are reportedly excellent and could facilitate a deal.
