Roma are monitoring the situation revolving around Leonardo Spinazzola’s future which continues to remain uncertain.

The Italian fullback is once again forced to sit on the sidelines due to a muscle injury.

Moreover, his contract is nearing its expiry date and the player is yet to deliver a convincing performance this season.

As a result, Roma are said to be open to the idea of letting Spinazzola go in January.

According to calciomercato.com – in addition to Lucas Piton of Vasco Da Gama – Roma have also shown interest in Rangers defender Borna Barisic.

Barisic is set to become a free agent next summer, but could also part ways with the Scottish side in January for a minimal fee.
