Roma inform Juan Jesus he will no longer be called-up

Roma boss Paulo Fonseca did not call-up Juan Jesus for yesterday’s match against Hellas Verona as the club appear ready to freeze the Brazilian out of the team.

Il Tempo has reported that Roma met yesterday with the agent of the defender, Roberto Calenda, to discuss the situation.

The club made it clear that the Brazilian will no longer be called-up for any of the matches this season after former Inter man rejected potential moves to Cagliari and Genoa this summer.

The Giallorossi also asked the player and his agent to reduce their asking amount for commissions to help facilitate a move away from the Italian capital.
