Roma have reportedly inquired about AZ Alkmaar attacker Angelis Pavlidis.
The capital club continue their search for attacking reinforcements and Pavlidis seems to fit the bill for Jose Mourinho’s transfer wish-list.
According to calciomercato.com, Roma have made contact with AZ Alkmaar in recent days and made inquiries for Pavlidis’ availability this summer.
The Dutch side want to sell Pavlidis – who recorded 12 goals and 8 assists in 25 appearances last season – whereas Roma would only be willing to sign him on a loan with option to buy.
For the time being, the two clubs are too distant in their evaluation for the player. However, the news portal reports that Roma could soon come knocking on Alkmaar’s doorstep with a more convincing proposal.
