Roma have made an inquiry for Swiss midfielder Denis Zakaria of Juventus in light of Gini Wijnaldum’s recent injury. Zakaria is among the profiles Roma are considering of adding to replace the injured Dutchman.
According to Italian journalist Romeo Agresti, Roma have contacted Juve about possibly signing Denis Zakaria on loan.
Zakaria is looking to move away from Turin after only seven months following his switch from Gladbach. Juventus want Leandro Paredes and – in order to free up roster space – are willing to part ways with Zakaria.
It remains to be seen whether the Bianconeri would be open to handing the 25-year-old to a direct rival, but the Swiss international is an option for Roma.
