Roma have reportedly shown interest in Lille attacker Jonathan David.

As the transfer window enters its final stretch, Roma are monitoring several players who could potentially reinforce Jose Mourinho’s attack in light of Tammy Abraham’s long-term injury.

The latest report by Andrea Di Carlo for Il Romanista claims that Roma made contact with Lille for star forward Jonathan David.

The Giallorossi’s inquiry proved unsuccessful as Lille’s demands are sky high and impossible for Roma to match at this point in time.

Roma are trying to assess whether there could be a chance to make a surprise signing near the end of the window on the basis of a loan. Another suggestion could be Romelu Lukaku who is on his way out of Chelsea but has not found a new team yet.
