Roma are being linked with attacking midfielder Abdelhamid Sabiri of Sampdoria who impressed in last year’s campaign with 3 goals and 2 assists in 14 appearances since his arrival in Genova in January.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Sampdoria are planning to extend the player’s contract given his status as one of the more exciting talents in Italy.
Nonetheless, Roma have reportedly made an inquiry for the German international, and could try and make an offer as the transfer window enters its second month.
Sabiri could prove to be a valid alternative to Lorenzo Pellegrini given his versatility in the middle of the pitch and his scoring prowess.
