Roma have reportedly asked for information concerning Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso.
The capital club are said to be planning their long-term future these days with General Manager Tiago Pinto and head coach Jose Mourinho likely on their way out by the end of the season.
According to today’s edition of La Repubblica, Roma CEO Lina Souloukou is now in charge of overseeing these long-term plans and finding suitable replacements for Pinto and Mourinho.
The first name on the list to replace Mourinho is Alonso’s. The Spanish technician is one of the highest rated coaches in the world at the moment and bringing him to the Italian capital would be extremely complicated.
Nonetheless, Souloukou is said to have made first inquiries as to Alonso’s availability next summer.
