Roma have identified Porto’s Sergio Oliveira as the much talked about reinforcement for Jose Mourinho’s midfield.
The Giallorossi, with the help of superstar agent Jorge Mendes, are now in talks to sign the 29-year-old midfielder on loan with option to buy.
In fact, Sportitalia report that Roma have intensified talks in the last few hours, with the capital club ready to offer €1.5 million loan fee and additionally an option to buy set at €15 million at the end of the season.
An agreement could be reached as early as today. Roma are also relying on Oliveira’s gentleman’s agreement with Porto: the Portuguese club promised to let Oliveira go if a satisfying offer for the midfielder were to arrive.
