Roma are pushing to sign long-time target Davide Frattesi already in January.

The capital club are at work to secure a deal for Davide as the Giallorossi seek mid-season reinforcements for Jose Mourinho.

In fact, Roma are set to meet with Sassuolo next week to discuss the details for a January transfer, reports calciomercato.com. The club are hopeful to secure Frattesi’s move then, by including Edoardo Bove in the negotiations.

The Neroverdi are interested in Bove and willing to lower their demands due to Roma’s 30% sell-on clause for Frattesi.

Next week Tiago Pinto will discuss the details pertaining to a buyback option for Bove, who Roma consider a long-term prospect in need of more playing time.

In turn, Davide Frattesi is expected to reiterate to Sassuolo his eagerness to return to his boyhood club.
