Despite the stalemate, Roma and Inter remain locked-in talks with the hopes of trying to complete the swap deal for Leonardo Spinazzola and Matteo Politano.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the two clubs have reignited negotiations and are trying to find a compromise. Inter, who changed the original agreement of the transfer, want to make Spinazzola’s move a loan with an option to buy while Roma want the deal to be a permanent one. The two sides could settle on a loan with an obligation to buy linked to the number of appearances the former Atalanta makes for the Nerazzurri.
Updates are expected in the coming hours as we will then have a clearer picture as to whether or not this move will go through.
