Roma interested in Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka

Looking to revamp Roma’s midfield, incoming manager José Mourinho has his eyes towards the Premier League.

Gianluca Di Marzio has reported today that one of the options the Giallorossi are eyeing is Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka. Mourinho has long admired the Swiss international and wants to bring him to the Italian capital to reinforce the middle of the pitch.

Reportedly, the Gunners would be willing to part with Xhaka, though, they are requesting €25 million to complete a deal. The parties are at work trying to find an agreement, with Roma hoping to finalise the operation for under €20 million (with bonuses included).
