Roma are reportedly eyeing out-of-favor Barcelona midfielder Oriol Romeu as a potential January reinforcement.
As the transfer window is already under-way, Roma are working to anticipate Renato Sanches’ departure after the 26-year-old failed to impress Jose Mourinho in the opening months of his loan from PSG.
With Sanches possibly leaving the capital club, La Repubblica claims that Romeu is one of the options Roma are considering to replace Sanches with.
Romeu is facing limited playing time in Catalonia and would be willing to move abroad on loan for the remainder of the season.
