Roma interested in Barcelona’s Riqui Puig

Rumors regarding the January transfer window are starting to pick up, especially given the fact that Roma are looking to reinforce their midfield.

According to Spanish sports outlet Sport, the Italian capital club are considering several alternatives to Denis Zakaria (their number one target), including Barcelona’s Riqui Puig.

The young Spaniard is not considered by Barca boss Koeman and wants to find a new team as soon as possible.

The Giallorossi are reportedly interested in the midfielder, with Mourinho recommending him to General Manager Tiago Pinto.

Puig has only featured in 4 games this season with a mere total of 74 minutes played.
