With Davide Zappacosta being at the club only on loan plus the likely departures of Bruno Peres, Rick Karsdorp and Alessandro Florenzi — Roma are looking for a new reinforcement at right back.
One of the names the Giallorossi like — according to Il Tempo — is Bologna’s Takehiro Tomiyasu.
The Japanese international has appeared in 21 matches in all competitions for the Rossoblu this season, collecting 2 assists in the process.
The 21 year-old has been one of the most consistent performers for Siniša Mihajlović’s side and has caught the attention of clubs both in Italy and abroad.
Tomiyasu arrived in Italy last summer for €9 million from Sint-Truiden after having been “discovered” by Bologna duo Riccardo Bigon and Walter Sabatini.
