Roma interested in Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah

Roma continue being linked with new names for the defense as the Giallorossi want to further strengthen Jose Mourinho’s backline for the new season before the end of the transfer window.

The latest name from England is that Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah who may opt to leave Stamford Bridge on a temporary basis in search of more playing time, reports The Athletic.

The 23-year-old could see his minutes dramatically drop under Thomas Tuchel with the arrival of Kalidou Koulibaly. For this reason, Chelsea are open to sending Chalobah on loan as the player has drawn considerable interest in the Premier League and Serie A.

Roma are reportedly among the teams to be monitoring the young centre-back. Inter and Milan have also been named as potential suitors.
