After the announcement of Tiago Pinto’s departure in February, Roma are in the process of securing a new sporting director.
The club are hoping to finalize the arrival of a new candidate for the job with several names on CEO Lina Souloukou’s list: the former Olympiakos executive has been tasked with the search of Pinto’s replacement.
Following links with ex-Roma and Milan director Ricky Massara and Monza’s Francois Modesto, Il Messaggero reports that the Giallorossi have also shown interest in former Marseille sporting director Javier Ribalta.
Over the years, Ribalta has worked in Italy with Parma and Russia with Zenith. Roma appreciate his international pedigree and could make contact for him in the coming weeks.
