Roma interested in Fluminense attacker Marcos Paulo

Roma continue to look in South America for reinforcements. Reportedly, one of the names they are interested in is Fluminense forward Marcos Paulo. Globoesporte reports that Giallorossi scouts have been present at Fluminense’s last two home matches at the Maracanã Stadium.

Roma’s interest in the player is not new, though. The capital club have had their eyes on the 18 year-old since last year, when they put forth a bid of €7 million plus a percentage of the future sale. The proposal was ultimately rejected by the Rio-based side, but the Giallorossi continue to keep tabs on the player and could make an attempt to bring him to the club in January.
