Roma interested in Fulham’s Anguissa

With the new season fast approaching – Roma-Fiorentina scheduled on August 22nd – the Roman club are very active on the market. General Manager Tiago Pinto knows that in order to be able to sign more players he needs to first sell the majority of individuals excluded from the club’s plans.

This desperate need to sell and reduce the wage bill has become a real obstacle for Roma. However, the club are keeping a close eye on several names, primarily for the midfield where one between Villar, Diawara and Darboe might leave in the coming weeks.

According to Il Messeggero, Roma are monitoring André-Frank Zambo Anguissa of English side Fulham.

The 25-year-old midfielder does not intend on playing in the Championship and might consider moving abroad for a third time following his previous experiences in Ligue 1 with Marseille and La Liga with Villareal.

The Cameroon international featured in 36 Premier League matches last season, finishing with 3 assists mostly playing as a central and defensive midfielder.
