Roma are reportedly interested in Fiorentina player Gaetano Castrovilli.

The Italian midfielder is on his way to becoming a free agent as his contract with Fiorentina is set to expire this summer and him and his entourage have not reached an agreement for a new contract.

Thus, Corriere Fiorentino reports that Castrovilli will test the Italian market where, among others, Roma are said to be interested in him.

The Giallorossi have been monitoring Castrovilli since his return from a lengthy injury absence. The player was recently back on the score sheet in over a year in the recent match against Fiorentina.

The same news portal claims Lazio have also shown interest in Castrovilli and consider him a good alternative to Luis Alberto.
