Mateo Retegui is the latest name linked with Roma as a possible reinforcement before the end of the summer.

The capital club are still looking for replacements of Romelu Lukaku and Andrea Belotti, and could soon part ways with Tammy Abraham who has received interest from the Premier League and Milan.

As a result, Roma have been keeping an extensive list of names to strengthen De Rossi’s squad.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Roma have come forward for Retegui, inquiring for his availability this summer.

After a round of exploratory talks with the player’s entourage, Roma also asked Genoa about the player’s price tag.

The news portal claims Genoa want around €20-25 million for the ex-Tigre striker.

Juventus are also pushing for Retegui as they consider him a suitable back-up option to Dusan Vlahovic.
