Rennes midfielder Benjamin Bourigeaud has been one of the standouts this season in Ligue 1. The 28 year-old has amassed 6 goals and 10 assists in 29 league appearances for Bruno Génésio’s side this season, which has led several clubs throughout Europe to take notice.
According to Le10sport.com, both Roma and Lazio have expressed interest in acquiring the Frenchman this summer once the transfer window reopens in July.
There were also whispers Nice could try and make a move for the midfielder, but it was quickly denied by the club.
Bourigeaud’s contract with Rennes expires in June 2023 but the club has no intention of losing him for free—potentially paving the way for a summer exit.
