Roma are being linked with River Plate attacker Lucas Beltran.
According to Corriere della Sera, Beltran is a player that Roma have been monitoring with interest over the past months.
He is among the options to strengthen Jose Mourinho’s attack ahead of the upcoming season.
However, the newspaper claims that Beltran – who holds an Italian passport and who, at the age of 22, has already collected 22 goals and 7 assists in over 70 appearances for River – is being valued at €20 million plus add-ons.
In recent days, River Plate rejected a €16 million offer from Fiorentina which puts Roma in a difficult spot as the Giallorossi continue to work with limited financial means under UEFA’s FFP Settlement Agreement.
