Undoubtedly one of the surprises of the season, Spezia attacker M’Bala Nzola is drawing considerable interest from big clubs in Serie A, including Roma.
The striker has carried Spezia’s dismal attack throughout the season, scoring 14 goals across all competitions—nine more than their next highest goalscorer.
According to calciomercato.com, the Giallorossi want to address their attacking struggles this summer and have identified the 26 year-old as a potential reinforcement.
The Ligurian side reportedly values Nzola at around €18 million but Roma have already expressed their eagerness to try and lower the cash portion by including a player into the operation.
Transfer chief Tiago Pinto is willing to include Eldor Shomurodov, who’s already at Spezia on loan, for any deal involving Nzola.
