Roma are looking toward the Premier League for defensive reinforcements in the upcoming January window.

The capital club are reportedly keen on signing a suitable replacement of Evan Ndicka due to the Ivorian’s participation in next year’s AFCON which will make him unavailable for a period of up to 6 weeks.

As a result, the Giallorossi are scouting potential replacements abroad with special attention to the Premier League.

After being linked with Eric Dier of Tottenham on Mourinho’s request, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Roma have also come forward for Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah who is rumored to be on his way out of Stamford Bridge.

Roma are said to have made inquiries for Chalobah – the defender is also drawing interest from Juventus, the Bundesliga and several clubs in England.
