Roma are still searching for their next sporting director.
Following the exit of Tiago Pinto – who left his post as the club’s General Manager on Friday morning upon the conclusion of the January window – Roma want to appoint his successor as soon as possible.
According to La Repubblica, the club have not decided yet on the leading candidate for the job.
The newspaper argues that while Francois Modesto – current technical director of Monza – is Roma CEO Lina Souloukou’s preferred choice due to their working rapport at Olympiakos, other Roma representatives are more keen on other profiles.
For example, the newspaper cites Marco Neppe as a new club favorite given his recent experience at Bayern Munich came to an end and is now contended by several European top clubs.
