Roma is looking ahead and starting to plan for the future with clear ideas.

The new coaching direction is under Gian Piero Gasperini, who has already identified the priorities for strengthening the squad: increasing the attacking quality and adding one-on-one options on the wings.

Among the names being closely monitored is Crysencio Summerville, a West Ham United winger.

According to TeamTalk, the Dutchman’s profile is particularly attractive to the Piedmontese coach, who has long been a fan of the player.

This isn’t a new interest in Summerville. Roma had already attempted to make moves during the winter transfer window, but failed to close the deal. Another detail that could facilitate negotiations is the fact that Malen shares the same entourage.

Now the situation could reopen with greater conviction. The Giallorossi are considering a new attempt, despite being aware of the difficulties involved. West Ham considers Summerville an important player and would not be willing to part with him easily.

Much will also depend on the Hammers’ final stretch of the season: remaining in the Premier League would make the English club less inclined to negotiate, while a potential relegation could shift the balance of power and turn Roma’s interest into a concrete possibility.
