Roma-Kumbulla reach contract agreement

Roma are set to acquire Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla.

Fabrizio Romano of Sky Sport has reported that the Albanian international will sign a contract with the Giallorossi until 2025 as the sides are nearing a final agreement, which should be completed within the next few hours.

The news comes just hours after Roma and Verona reached an agreement on a fee for the player worth €30 million on a loan deal with an obligation to buy.

Roma are also continuing talks for Manchester United’s Chris Smalling, but they have yet to reach an agreement with the English side for the return of the defender.
