Earlier today, the capital club reached out to Atalanta to discuss a potential deal for Duvan Zapata, reports Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport.
The Giallorossi consider the veteran attacker to be a strong addition to Jose Mourinho’s roster as the club seek an experienced player to lead the Special One’s front line.
According to Di Marzio, Roma are now engaged in talks to try and find an agreement with the Bergamaschi that would allow Zapata to join the capital club as soon as possible.
