Roma’s slow start to the season is marked by another disappointing statistic.

The capital club – with only 5 points to show in the opening 5 games of the new Serie A campaign – have been remarkably unlucky with regards to the number of times Mourinho’s men hit the woodwork.

According to data gathered by SofaScore, Roma are currently leading Italy’s top flight with 6 post hits—the latest occurring last night when Bryan Cristante’s attempt hit the post.

Frosinone and Bologna are both trailing behind Roma with 4 woodwork hits. Last season, Roma concluded their Serie A campaign with a total of 17 hits, only one behind eventual leaders Juventus.
