Roma leading the race for Tonali

Alfredo Pedulla of SportItalia has reported that Roma may have the inside track on the path that leads to Brescia starlet Sandro Tonali. Brescia president Cellino has, reportedly, slapped a massive price tag of €27-€28 million on the midfielder, who has no shortage of suitors. Juventus and Inter have made inquiries for the class of 2000 midfielder, while Brescia have even received offers from abroad. But now, though, Roma has gained a sort of preferential lane and have moved ahead of the competition thanks to the operation for Giallorossi Primavera midfielder Andrea Marcucci, who is set to join Brescia on a permanent deal. Marcucci, according to the reported, is seen as a sort of “down payment” for the eventual operation that could bring Tonali to Roma.
