Roma legend and current mayor of Verona, Damiano Tommasi, backed Giallorossi boss Jose Mourinho after his side defeated Hellas Verona in last night’s Serie A engagement.
“I don’t know if there is a right coach for Roma, but Roma can enhance anyone’s personality and knows how to give something special, for gratification, in case of success, something which they will never forget,” Tommasi told Radio Anch’io.
“For the city, having a coach like Mourinho makes you dream and have fun, on and off the pitch,” he continued.
“Roma, like its coach, is tough and difficult to get back at after they’ve taken advantage of the situation,” Tommasi concluded.
