Legendary Roma player Francesco Totti defended Jose Mourinho’s work at the club and addressed criticism regarding the Giallorossi’s uneven campaign.
In a recent interview with Sky Sport, Totti commented, “Roma are in the quarterfinals of the Europa League, they are fifth in the league and can get to the Champions League zone which is the objective for the season.”
“I hope they can go as far as possible in Europe,” he added, referring to Roma’s Europa League campaign.
“Mourinho? People say he’s too defensive but the truth is people will always talk for the sake of talking. The important thing are the results, then whether you play well or badly is secondary.”
