Roma and Lille held another round of meetings today regarding the transfer of right back Zeki Çelik to the Italian capital.
The Giallorossi have been pressing to finalise a deal by this weekend, however, Sky Sport reports the two clubs still haven’t reached a definitive agreement.
The French club’s asking price for the Turkish international remains €8 million due to the defender having less than one year remaining on his contract with the club.
Nonetheless, Roma are still confident they’ll be able to close the operation in the coming days. The capital club already has an agreement in place with Çelik worth €2 million (net) per season.
