Roma are reportedly eyeing out-of-favor Manchester City midfielder İlkay Gündoğan as the club’s big summer signing.
According to Leggo, the German international was recently seen in Rome and his arrival could benefit via growth decree to help cover his large salary.
The veteran midfielder currently earns €7 million and is looking to move away from the Premier League.
Barcelona are deemed the favorites to land Gündoğan, but eventual surprises on Roma’s part cannot be excluded, with the Friedkin determined to significantly improve José Mourinho’s roster for next season.
