Roma linked with Nemanja Maksimović of Getafe

With the transfer window underway, more names are being linked to the capital club. With Xhaka nearing Roma with every passing day, the club are also studying other profiles for the midfield.

In fact, Spanish sports outlet Marca reports that Roma have expressed interest in Nemanja Maksimović of Getafe and have contacted the player’s entourage to find out whether he would be willing to move to Serie A and to assess the feasibility of a transfer.

There hasn’t been any contact between the two clubs so far. However, Getafe might ask for a minimum of €15 million, since 30% of the sale goes to Maksimović’s former side, Valencia. Benfica are also interested.

Maksimović is a 26-year-old central midfielder who can play in front of the defense. He has been a pivotal player for Bordelas’ team, making 106 appearances in La Liga over the last three seasons at Getafe.
