Roma sporting director Ramon Monchi flew to Brussels yesterday ahead of the January transfer market. Rumors emerged today that the Spanish director has his eyes set on Standard Liege midfielder Răzvan Marin, however, this was disputed by Il Tempo journalist Alessandro Austini.
Renato Maisani of Goal revealed the name that interests Monchi is that of Bosnian midfielder Gojko Cimirot. The class of 1992 midfielder joined Standard Liège in January and has a contract that runs until 2022.
