Roma look at Verona’s Tomas Suslov for the midfield

Andy Mattioli

Roma are reportedly interested in Slovak midfielder Tomas Suslov of Hellas Verona.

The 22-year-old midfielder is being linked with the Giallorossi in Gianluca Di Marzio’s latest report for Sky Sport.

According to Di Marzio, Suslov represents the kind of profile Roma are after to further boost their midfield.

Suslov’s adaptability from attacking box-to-box midfielder to playing on the wing behind the striker has made him an interesting candidate for a move to the Italian capital.

The player is said to represent many of the characteristics that Daniele De Rossi wants from his midfielders for next season.

Suslov has also been linked with Lazio as they are closing in on former Hellas Verona boss Marco Baroni.

The Slovak international concluded the season with 3 goals and 5 assists in 32 games for Verona.
