Roma are reportedly eyeing Turkish goal-keeper Ugurcan Cakir of Trabzonspor.

The shot-stopper had already been linked with the Giallorossi last year as Roma pondered the long-term future for the goalie position given Rui Patricio’s expiring contract.

According to Italian journalist Francesco Balzani for LaRoma24.it, Roma are still interested in Cakir who recently became the starting keeper for Vincenzo Montella’s Turkish national team.

Montella himself personally recommended Cakir to Roma as their future number one.

Meanwhile, the capital club are considering other candidates as well including Monza’s Di Gregorio and Lecce’s Falcone.
