Jonathan David remains Roma’s dream to strengthen the attack ahead of next season.

At the moment, however, Lille’s economic requests for the Canadian striker are not viable for the Giallorossi.

According to Il Messaggero, however, a solution to unblock the negotiation could be to wait, as was done last year with Romelu Lukaku.

The newspaper reveals that the room for maneuver for the Giallorossi could increase if David were still owned by the French club in August.

Lille, desperate to avoid losing David on a free transfer next year, could then lower their requests, facilitating a deal involving the Giallorossi.
