Roma are monitoring various players in the opening weeks of the summer transfer window.

One of the capital club’s priorities remains the addition of another right-back.

With Zeki Celik set to stay and Rick Karsdrop linked a move from the club, Roma are seeking another player could fill in on the right flank for Daniele De Rossi.

According to Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari, Roma have maintained their strong interest in Lorenz Assignon of Stade Rennais.

The French fullback recently concluded his loan at Burnley and wants to try his luck in Serie A.

Roma have continued talks with the player’s entourage over recent weeks.

However, the Giallorossi have yet to make an offer for him.
